When he returned to Switzerland in 1967, Jean-Louis developed the agricultural land of his parents in Fribourg (Switzerland). In 1972 he started agricultural development and cattle operations on his ranch in Veracruz (Mexico). He also established several commercial enterprises in Veracruz.
In 1984, with his wife Irma, sister Anne-Marie Musy-Turrian and brother-in-law "Executive Chef," Paul Turrian, they open a Swiss gastronomic restaurant, the "Hosteria Suiza" in Veracruz. Jean-Louis'daughter, Caroline Musy, studied in Mexico, Switzerlnad is currently in hotel management in Cancún - Mexico. François Musy, an agronomist, is managing the family ranch in Veracruz, with his younger brother Philippe Musy pursuing an engineering career in Spain.
Unfortunately, after an illness, Jean-Louis Musy died in 1997.
