Pio Julius Gustave de Meyer {Meyères}- (1871-1965), originally from Oeschgen (Argovie -Switzerland), Doctor in medicine (MD), resident-in-chief of the "Sanatorium of Leysin" (1898-1918), Citizen of Fribourg in 1939, "Knight of the Order of Malta," and "Commander of the Order of St. Gregory the Great." The nobility title of Count de Meyer was granted to him by hereditary transmission to the first born in the family, son of Count Jules de Meyer, (1829-1907) and of Maria Pocobelli (1852-1930)
